My wife gave me a gift card for three messages at the Hand and Stone Massage. The nearest location, Severna Park was quite a distance from our home in Clinton but worth the trip. I was serviced by Kia. Very nice, quite talkative, and very good at her job. She was wonderful. I had returned from a long car trip and my lower back was really hurting. Her hands went over my back once and knew exactly what to work on. Here I am a day later fully refreshed.
I definitely recommend this Hand and Stone and ask for Kia!

Complete waste of money. The choices for pressure were light/medium/firm, I chose firm. This turned into lightly rubbing lotion on me. The areas I asked her to focus on (traps & deltoids) were never touched, not even lightly applying lotion. This must be the worst massage therapist ever.

I had been to North Brunswick Hand and Stone and the massage was horrible. It was one hr started 10min late and ended 3 min before. The actual massage was not relaxing at all and the person who was doing the massage was tiered and most of the time it felt like a gentle rub of hands with no pressure.

I got a gift card for Mother's Day for this Spa. I scheduled a facial and massage for the same day. When I arrive to the spa the lady at the front desk tells me "We have been trying to contact you, your massage therapist is out sick today". So I updated my phone number and rescheduled the massage for the following week. I did get my facial and it was excellent! When I was leaving I gave the girl at the front desk my gift card to pay, come to find out, the price online is different at the location so I paid $20 more than planned. Instead of getting my receipt in hand, the girl trashed my receipt and I asked her for the receipt, she reached into the trash and gave me my receipt with no apology and she wasn't pleasant as soon as I mentioned that I had a gift card. It shouldn't matter how people pay, the service was already paid for as a gift. Several days later I cancelled my appointment due to unforeseen issues. I get a phone call back and the girl says "We don't have you in the system for today, please call us back so we can schedule you". At this point I am NOT looking forward to going back to use what is left on my gift card. I have never been to a Spa this terrible!!!

My dad purchased two $100 gift cards from here that I used to bring my husband here for his birthday for an hour couples massage. The massages were great. Until I go to check out and they tell me the gift card balances were already used by the previous owner "Anne Wolfe". After paying $260 including tips, I was told I would be entirely refunded by the manager. A month later still no refund. I've gone there with my children, emailed three times, called four times, and still no refund. I really hope I am contacted by the NEW owner to have this issue resolved so I can delete this review so their business won't have such a bad reputation. It seems this is the only way I can get their attention. This is entirely illegal.

We have been massages for years, it is something we truly enjoy. This was the WORST experience ever. From the fee being different than when booked, the one person telling us if we had to use the facilities to hurry, a 5 year could have done better and a mini cup of water and did not get the full "50 minutes

I found this place while doing an internet search. I was able to get a same day appointment for a Swedish massage (trigger point massages you have to wait longer) with the additional aromatherapy and hot towel foot massage. The massage was very nice and did help with my aching joints. The masseuse was knowledgeable and friendly. The do offer multiple massage packages, facials, and waxing.
