Decided to spend our evening checking out the sunset at Paine's Creek. As other reviewers have said, the parking is very limited. We arrive about an hour before sunset and had no problem finding a spot, but when we left, cars were piled on top...More

Wonderful beach for families with young children. The shallow inlet allows kids to swim and play safely within site of parents. Nice to walk on in early morning at low tide.

I can't say enough good things about Paine's Creek Beach. Perfect at low tide for shell hunting and sand castle making. Perfect at high tide for swimming and floating through the natural lazy river. Can't wait to go back!!

Good luck finding a parking place. There are about 12 spots total. Most people who go there live or rent nearby. The fun part is that the water leaves around noon and comes back at high tide around 8. Lots of places for little kids...More

It's so pretty here. There are so many spots that are worthy of painting, it's easy to spend a lot of time here. And happily there are bathrooms just a couple of blocks away along with a sandwich shop, cafe and a few shops. It's...More

Painters love this vista with special sunlight and changing tides. Dogs welcome off season. Beautiful and tranquil.

This is a great area for families with kids in ages young to early teens. There's lots of crabbing, walking, playing around in the water. A nice area as an alternative to the beach.

After reading other reviews I was excited to see the Brewster flats and float along in a tube in this natural "Lazy River." I didn't realize they were mutually exclusive of one another! The beach is beautiful at low tide. You can catch small fish,...More

No but in peak season an ice cream truck is in parking lot. There are only 15 parking spaces but still try to go. Beautiful beach with tidal pools.
