This small park, perfect for a picnic, is home to the "Hail to the Sunrise" statue, a tribute to the Native Americans who greeted the first settlers to the area.

Such an important monument should be better advertised, should have parking for the visitors, and probably a guide who can illustrate visitors of the importance of the monument.

Awesome little park honoring all the native american tribes of new england. There is even a sundial as the centerpiece of the park.

A quiet place to stop along the Mohawk trail for a restful picnic or just to enjoy the scenic view. If your interested in American Indian culture this is a great stop.
