We went once and kept going back. There was something for everyone -- waves for big kids, but not too big for little kids, beautiful sand, perfect vibe. A couple of tips: get there early. Before 11:00 if you can. That way you can definitely...More

This is a beach designated for Chilmark residents. We obtained our pass from the Beach Plum Inn. Not many reviews here due to the restrictions, but if you can obtain a pass, it's worth a few hours of relaxation. Beautiful rock formations, small cliff dunes,...More

We rented a house in Chilmark and so were able to wait the 45 minutes at the Chilmark town hall to get a car and walk-on passes for this beach. I don't recall what it cost, sorry. Nice beach. Some areas have large rocks in...More

So scenic and beautiful. Nice waves and sand. Lots of pretty stones and shells. Good spot for sunset pics or even a wedding.

Just a beautiful beach. Wide, soft sand, things to explore. The rock formations are amazing. It is resident only in season but available for all to explore off season. Worth a trip up to chilmark on a nice day

Our island beach for years. We tend to visit more off season. Carry in and carry out, only porta potties available and no concessions. Take an umbrella as there is no shade at all. Watch the weather reports for great waves for boogey boarding.

the large stones and mist rolling into the cliffs is quite the scene. The parking was easy and a quick flat walk to the beach. Plenty of space to spread out from the crowds

Getting access to this very private beach is not easy. Whatever compromises in you have to make to get a pass, do it! Some places in Chilmark come with passes; some don't; ask before booking. Even local property owners with required stickers cannot get in...More

This is a beach where a photographer can capture some great photographs! The beach is lovely, and the places where there are high cliffs and stone sculptures are just beautiful, and certainly not usual on other beaches. The waves make life interesting. It was not...More

I'm not sure when the season begins or ends. We were there on for Memorial Day weekend, and we had no problem getting on. I'm thinking the beach season would be when they have lifeguards there, and I would think that most... More
