This is a review of Green Briar Jam Kitchen's AMAZING strawberry jam. The jam is magnificently made without pectin. As a consequence, the flavor is unparalleled -- and the jam is not thick and set. It is more like a thick strawberry sauce with whole...More

I didn't have a clue what this was except that there was a sign that said Jam Tasting today. What a delightful find! Yes, there was jam and other lovely things in the gift shop but the old fashioned kitchen where they still make jams...More

I found the museum to be very interesting and the grounds were beautiful. The gift shop was fantastic, I finally had to drag myself out as I kept running back in for just one more thing!

There was very little on display about Thornton Burgess, a famous children's author in his day. The museum was mostly a library of his books. The wildflower garden was lovely. At our mid-afternoon stop, the animals weren't available and we couldn't visit.

Green Briar Nature Center is a wonderful stop as you wend your way along Route 6A in Sandwich. There is a simple but beautiful wildflower garden (the wonderfully helpful gardener is here on Mondays) and a peaceful pond (in which a family of swans live)...More

Sorry, My mistake. I was thinking Heritage Museum and Gardens not allowing pets. Greenbrier probably does but please call 508.888.6870 to receive their current policy from their staff.
