This is always a must see when friends are visiting the Eastham area. The view of the Orleans town cove, the salt marsh and the ocean are spectacular. The walking trails are very easy too.

We were surprised by the numbers of cars here, at the top of a hill overlooking Cape Cod water. It was so busy, in fact, that we almost didn’t have parking and there was not a good way to turn around and leave. Luckily, since...More

Stunning views of the marshes leading to the ocean, with Coast Guard Beach in the distance. Terrific birding, as this is on the migration path and also has grasses, Marsh, wooded areas, etc. great walking path. Wonderful place in all seasons.

Fort Hill is a wonderful place to visit in Eastham, MA. There is a hike that offers many sights. There is also a sea captain's home to view. Check the hours to view the home as they are limited.

Visited Fort Hill on a guided tour. Awesome Fall views of the salt marsh and the surrounding meadows. Tons of historical relevance. Thoreau saw the beauty and it is still here to treasure.

Beautiful area, nice easy hike. It is a bit muddy in places so I’d recommend wearing boots! The house nearby is stunning.

There are two small parking areas here, the first very close to the Perriman House and the second up the hill and looking out to sea. There were only about six cars between the two areas, so parking was easy, not so in the high...More

There are two parking lots here that offer a short hike to an estuary area with fantastic views and abundant wildlife. There were boats staged in the bays that I assumed were clamming. Wonderful views in all directions. Worth the short walk.

From the parking lot there are fantastic views across the marshlands, the estuary and the sea. For those that want to walk there are numerous trails. There were only a few other vehicles there when we visited so it was quiet and peaceful.

A variety of trails in length and environment, but all interesting and reasonably well maintained, the boardwalk is patched in places and in my mind will soon need replacing. There is limited parking, two smallish lots and I would imagine in the season it could...More
