We visited Coast Guard Beach on a day of beach-hopping along the National Seashore. The parking area by the coast guard station was very nice, with plenty of spots to park your bike, a large bathroom building, and a little gazebo area that provided a...More

Always a nice beach to stop at. It’s still winter here so we didn’t walk on the beach. Instead we walked the trail to the bridge. The scenic views from here are beautiful.

It was apparently sea lion mating season so there was a handful of Males right off beach. Wonderful beach with awesome dunes. Totally deserted in october, there was only a few other people there.

This really is a beautiful area. Saltmarsh full of bird life meets the ocean. You can sit on a small viewing area and look at the marsh and the ocean at the same time. Then you can wander down onto the beach and watch the...More

Coast Guard Beach is my favorite beach on the Cape. Of course, I travel mid-week off-season (mid Sept to mid Oct). No fees, no shuttle, no crowds and no sand fleas. Some of the terns and plovers have left, but the seals are close to...More

Yes there is, directly in front of the bathrooms-locker rooms is a small walkway down to the beach. its a bit of a hill but not bad. Hope you find it if you go back.
