The staff is helpful in regard, for example, to the area's history and providing directions. The exhibits are informative, and the gift shop offers a variety of useful items.

Very nice visitors center. Very clean and helpful staff. We learned a lot of facts on the area. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

A nice stop to get an overall picture of the area and the salt marsh environment. There is a small theater which shows very good shorts on everything from how the cape was formed, salt marsh restoration and the areas whaling history.

No - the ranger led program rents canoes. Other places DO rent kayaks (see responses). You need to call the Salt Pond Visitor Center to register first. They also provide the instruction about canoe safety, life vests... More
