My favorite beach. The lighthouse, the stairs, replacing the stairs almost every year. Soon they will have to move the restrooms, and then the lighthouse (again). Enjoy it while you can. And notice the houses on the bluff, (toward Wellfleet), before they too disappear.

It was misty the day we were here, and if you want to walk the beach you need to me there at low tide. The mist made it rather lovely with the sun coming through. Big waves perfect for body boarding and we saw seals...More

My husband and I drove to a few beaches on the National Seashore one day, just to see them. As you approach the parking lot for Nauset Light Beach, you can see the famous lighthouse to the left! We were at Coast Guard beach earlier,...More

We love Nauset Light Beach for the magnificent expanse of sand dunes, primo beach walking, and soothing surf. Be prepared, though: In windy weather, shade umbrellas are out of the question, and on calm days, your ankles can get nipped by sand flies. Bring industrial-strength...More

Nice beach just down from the lighthouse. Great shower/bathroom facility at the top of the stairs down to the beach. Huge cliff like sand dunes, shells, rocks, and a couple hundred yards of beach to the ocean. You can walk endlessly up and down this...More

This beach has had quite a bit of erosion! It is a great place to see the lighthouse, watch seals in the water and walk the beach. We were sorry to see how much erosion had occurred in the past year!

While down the cape you have got to take a bike ride to this beach. This is very family oriented and clean.

I guarded this beach for three Summers, 97-99, during the 9 year seasonal stretch I pulled before moving inland and paying taxes. NLB is located north of Coast Guard Beach, about a 1.5 mile trek up the beach. This is the first beach parking lot...More

We had fun at this beach at end of the day, making a fire (permit required) and s'mores. Nice facilities but the many steps can be an issue for some.

I've been going to Nauset Light since I was a little girl and it's such an awesome, clean sea side beach. There are bathrooms at the top of the stairs (there are a lot of stairs down from the parking lot so keep that in...More

The park district has changed this from time to time. As it stands right now, I don't believe if they are. However, you can call the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham, MA (508) 255-3421 or the Marconi Site Ranger Station... More
