I expected to spend about an hour here, not 3 1/2. The USS Massachusetts is a fine example of how to make history interesting. It is well exhibited and climbing up and down to all the decks makes it even more fun. It brought home how extensive the naval war effort was and what the crew went through to secure... More

Battleship Cove has a Fleet of ships, Battleship Massachusetts, Destroyer Kennedy, Submarine Lionfish, two PT Boats all on the National Historic Register. In addition these have an East German missile corvette, Hiddensee. Plus there are so much to see as you "climb" into history. A big change will be noticed if you have been here before or will significantly enhance... More

Wheather your into boats or not, this is a great fun filled afternoon for all ages. My 15 year old had as much fun and was in as much awe as my 5 year old. So much history and so many places to explore. Don't miss it

Had been to the USS Massachusetts in 1970 when I was 13. Had great memories of that day. Was excited to re-visit with my older brother. My biggest memory was going inside the 16 inch gun turret from the rear outside of the turret. The great news is you can still do it. What an experience. The other big news... More

The tours are for all ages, family-friendly, singles, couples, or groups. The fleet size and it's maintained details are well worth the visit. Walk on the ships of our history's past, they sit close together like time capsules. You feel the honor from within of the men who served on these magnificent vessels. From Battleship, to PT Cruiser, to Submarine,... More

My husband and I have visited a number of aircraft carriers in different U.S. cities, but it was very interesting to have so many historical water craft to visit in one location. It was fascinating to walk around the battleship. I greatly enjoyed that we were permitted to explore up and down passages inside, chambers with guns, narrow spaces, hallways,... More

Before traveling the last leg of your trip to the Cape and Islands. Be sure to stop at Battleship Cove in Fall River MA. Your kids will love the many Navy Vessels that are waiting to be explored. Not a wallet buster and lots of WWII history to hear and see. Tours available and Marine Museum within walking distance. Spend... More

The people working do an excellent job at maintaining such a large fleet of ships for everyone to be able to learn. Many displays and information regarding wars past and present.
