We realized that we missed the daffodils and the rhododendrons weren't out yet, but it was worth the visit. It was interesting to read the story and see the pictures of the couple who made it all possible. The setting is beautiful, right on Oyster Pond, so even without all of the flowers in bloom, it was an enjoyable walk... More

Very scenic and unique gardens. Free, but leave a donation! It must be awesome in the spring with all the daffodils in bloom. They have something for every seaso. You can spend a long or short time here! Wear your walking shoes!

Lots of yellow! Nice introduction to spring. Parking limited. It's a once a springtime visit for us. Easy to get to and just off the beach and bike path.

Went on a lovely walk through the gardens and our guide pointed out all the different trees and plants. He told us some very interesting facts about all the anchors.

There is a very beautiful public Garden off Fells Road in Falmouth quite near Surf Drive called Spohr Gardens. Charles was a retired Marine engineer. He and his wife Margaret planted over 10,000 daffodils on their property. They also planted numerous bushes including rhododendrons and Andromeda. During the days of April 22 and 23rd, the daffodils are at their peak... More

This lovely little park is a hidden treasure of the Falmouth area. Bring a picnic, and enjoy the sights, from the foliage to the views of the Oyster Pond. The community is richer for having the grounds donated as a park, and by someone who collected *anchors* as a hobby!

Wow what a special place. We found this location by geocaching. Incredible gardens and walkways through a very scenic property. For naval history buffs, you will enjoy the numerous anchors that line their waterfront walk. Very relaxing and scenic. An amazing garden that was built by a family. Absolutely worthy of a visit.

We visited out-of-season, but still think this is worth the visit for families. Easy walking trails with water views. Numerous labeled plants/trees and a collection of anchors.

Spohr Gardens is a hidden gem just off the bike path in Falmouth. Accesible by bike or car, the gardens are a great place to visit on a sunny summer day if you are looking for an escape from the busy downtown area of Falmouth. The grounds are open all year and are always in immaculate shape. It's a great... More
