Since it is still offseason on the Cape beaches, it was nice to stop here and not have to pay or fight for a parking spot! We had a nice walk along the water, even though it was a cool cloudy day..It is a pretty beach to walk and enjoy!

The only but is the parking. The beach fills up so you wait in line for a spot. Here is the routine that works for our family: 1. Get there early or wait until 1 or 2 in the afternoon When others pack up. We opt for the afternoon and we stay to take in the beautiful sunset. 2. Get... More

There is a lot to love about the beach. Water, views, people, walking. The water tends to be on the cool side, so be aware.

My wife and I were so lucky that we went on a brisk afternoon with 40's for temps but with the ocean breeze seemed high 20's but it was cloudyish, but didn't matter we picked shells for the grandchildren and enjoyed the views.

I love to go here Year around and it's one of my favorite beaches. Water is so beautifully flat and calm. Love to walk with dogs. Sand is clean. Parking is tough in summer, but if you go at off times it's enjoyable. Great bar next to beach you can grab drink and food at all day.

This got such good reviews so my wife and I went to enjoy the day at the beach but we were probably only there a half hour. We had to pay $20 to park which was a lot but understandable because there was absolutely no parking around. The beach was crowded, the sand was not soft, the water had a... More

Old Silver is very popular and in season it is crowded. There is some parking in 2 different places for a $20 fee, but come early because both fill up quickly. Early morning is a great time to get there. Watching the sun, the sail boats, and just relaxing is great. The beach is beautiful but you should bring your... More

OSB was very crowded on Labor Day ~ despite the $20 parking fee & limited parking. The glistening water was beautiful & watching the sailboats was fun. Water was warm & sand was soft, but there are sharp oyster shells. Wear water shoes to protect your feet. Take chairs & umbrellas.

Please plan on arriving early or for night owls later in the day when the crowds are gone. I love either time. The early morning is gorgeous and having coffee and a little breakfast on the beach is my idea of the perfect way to start the day..The children really love having cereal and juice. With a cooler full with... More

Falmouth was not my final destination. I was passing through headed to Martha Vineyard but the area was much more than I expected. Quiet, quaint And pleasant.
