The Shining Sea Bikeway is excellent for biking or walking. Often I walk this path just to observe the various birds and wildflowers. The ocean air is all around and it is a therapeutic walk that makes one feel good.

Started my back in the 1990s I have loved this bike path. I have pushed my babies in strollers on this bike path into Woods Hole and now that they are almost as tall as I am they walk alongside me, or ride their bikes....More

This is a lovely bike path to see winding marshland, egrets, ducks, and swans. We walked part of the path with dogs and also rode the path on bikes into Woods Hole. You won't get a great workout -- it's a bike path with walkers,...More

This is one of my favorite places in North America to ride a bike, and a must for any vacation on the Cape. I prefer riding in the early mornings and late evenings when it's not crowded. However, most of the bike rental shops are...More

The path can be a bit crowded, but everyone was pretty courteous. The ride has beautiful views and Wood's Hole is always a treat to visit.

Just a beautiful 11 mile stretch along the shore! Plenty of places to step off the path and onto the beach. Beautiful vistas, plants, flowers, sea birds and the like. Yes, it's crowded on the weekends in the summer....but it's there all year long! Go...More

Path is better off season or at odd hours of the AM and PM. Unfortunately the path needs repair and the overpasses need special care due to similar issues. But this is NOT THE BIGGEST PROBLEM! There are people that are not familiar with biking...More

The trail runs from Falmouth to Woods Hole. We started in Falmouth and had a lunch break in Woods Hole and returned. The trail is 11 miles and lovely. If you google, you should find maps and further information.
