This is a great little trail around a small cranberry bog that is right behind Bass Pro Shop at Patriot Place. It mostly flat but the hilly part is very easy. You have the bog, some woods and of course fresh air. There's also a pretty cool sculpture of an elk on the trail too. This trail os easy for... More

After shopping at Bass Pro Shop we took our Grandson for a nature walk out back. It's a great 1 mile easy walk behind BPS. It goes through the woods, around a Cranberry Bog and a few ponds. There are wild painted turtles, and you can challenge the children to find them. We had a good time with him and... More

The Nature Trail and Cranberry Bog was an interesting stop. The read as you go signs answered all the questions we had about the bog and surrounding area.

This is a free thing to do in the area. There is a boardwalk behind the store that takes you across a swampy area. Here you will find a bunch of turtles chasing each other around. A little further down the trail is a cranberry bog with a couple of statues in it. Once you pass the bog you enter... More

I have seen this trail sign a bunch of times so finally decided to give it a try. It's really cute and there are placards along the trail to learn about the cranberry bog. We saw a bunch of turtles and fish and a lot of birds along the walk. The trail also goes through the woods for a short... More

I love coming here. It's so good to be able to get outside on a beautiful day and take a walk. It's a short walk but you're in the woods & the views around the water are so pretty. You can go at your own pace as the trail is generally large enough for people to walk around if needed.... More

Coming from a number of different highways that all intersect nearby, one would never imagine total tranquility so nearby. This is a wonderful place to try out new purchases from Outdoor World yards away, or to explore with children, or to just walk and relax with nature. It's easily accessible and "different" all year long.

Visited on a Friday for a walk around the cranberry bogs with older friends. The path has flat parts and parts that are hilly with rocks and roots. Wear appropriate shoes and if you have trouble walking or balance issues just be very alert. We saw many moms with strollers. FYI a jogging stroller is best for the rugged terrain. Many... More

To the rear of the store is a nature trail and a wooden walkway around a pond with natural vegetation and turtles and frogs. There is also a cranberry bog. Of course it is dry and empty this time of year. We have many in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey. Nonetheless it was relaxing and a nice attempt to... More
