My wife and had just visited the JFK Hyannis Museum and I suggested that we walk down to the church were JFK and Jackie faithfully attended Sunday mass. It was about 3pm, and the church was opened for visitors. It's a frequent tourist destination, and there's a sign advising busses to park in the back lot. There were about 20... More

"The Kennedy Church" is just a nickname and there is no disrespect meant there. St Francis Xavier is a beautiful and welcoming church to visit. We attended Mass on November 1st and we were thoroughly pleased to be in such a beautiful and historical church in an incredible place like Hyannis, MA. Obviously there is daily Mass and Sunday Tridentine,... More

A very beautiful Catholic church right off Main Street in Hyannis. Church does have tours available to learn about its history and the Kennedy Family. Very beautiful statues and stained glass windows. A must stop for Sunday or Saturday evening service or just a off day visit. Pete

This is the church famous for being the Kennedy's family church. It has beautiful windows and statues. Above the altar is a Navy cross in honor of Joseph Kennedy Jr. who died in service. The large wooden front doors were donated by the Kennedy Family Stop in to see the church.

Is a beautiful church. Father had a beneficial sermon. Just being here makes one feel to be a part of living history.

This is the church that JFK and his family usually attended when on the Cape. They were part of the community. The current altar was donated as a tribute to JFK and the Kennedy family. It is only a few blocks from the JFK museum.

A must see church for anyone. Within an easy couple of blocks from downtown shopping and restaurants of Hyannis. Gorgeous stained glass windows in a quaint Catholic Church.

The Church Community offers a social gathering after each Mass in the church function room below the altar including pastries, coffee, soda. A small donation can be made but is not required,

An unusual design with 3 entrances. Flowers were beautiful inside and it was nice to spend time where the Kennedys lived and went to church. Sadly the air con had broken down but we survived! Hopefully the collection will go towards fixing it.
