The senior prom for Pentucket Regional High School was held here in 1976 and what a great place to have a prom! I brought my family out to see the estate 40 years later and it is even better than I remembered

Enjoyed the scenic grounds on this sunny. Beautiful vista of the ocean at the end of Grand Allee, wide swath of grass. Row of statutes on either side were covered. Beautiful estate from days gone bye.

We visited this Estate during the month of January. It was cold but you could clearly envision the absolute beauty when the grass is green and the trees are in bloom. The views of the water from this high vantage point are absolutely awesome. Well worth the time to experience the Estate in season.

Many a year and many a fond memory - we love the summer concert series and especially enjoy some of the special events we have attended. Stunning location and even better events

The setting is beautiful....lush woodlands and gardens, and a magnificent view of salt marshes the ocean. Don't be turned off by the "guided tour." It is an absolute delight.inside the structure there is a little bit for every interest and all but the youngest. Glimpse into the life of an early industrialist and his privileged family. The guides assume a... More

We have been on the grounds countless times over the years but never inside the castle. Today when there they were open for tours. We went in and had a great tour as we got ready for our period party... The views and the living quarter were awesome. The tour guide was great and we had fun. My wife was... More

Give yourself time, or become a member and visit many times. There is a lot to see in the house and the grounds are unique for such estates in New England. General: the landscaping is Formal Italianate pretty much from the original manor house that was torn down, replaced by existing structure (making the wife happy). This style mismatch notwithstanding,... More

Beautiful estate built as a summer home for the Crane "Plumbing" Family. Beautiful views - salt marshes, an Alee built landscaping built to mimic the waves of the oceans and beautiful estate. The tours are not expensive and are designed as if you are a visiting guest in days of old.

We took the landscape tour in the summer and learned some interesting history about the castle and its owners. It is a great place to take kids there for a picnic too. We definitely will return there soon for their signature in-door tour!
