Great river for the family! Beautiful trails as well as place to kayak and canoe. We are so luck to live so close to this river.

I viewed the river from a friend's house, which is on part of his property. Depending on season and rainfall, you can kayak or canoe along the river. It was a beautiful setting for a baptism of a friend's newborn.

There is nothing especially unique or interesting about this River, at least where I saw it near the Ipswich River Provisions establishment. There is a small dock and boats with buoys.

Diddo, what more can I say. It runs from way inland (topsfield, reading...etc? Go to Foot's canou rental after the drought (9/16). Or for bigger boats and ocean, Try Ipswich town warf---off season or weekends.
