The ponds are beautiful for kayaking as other reviewers have said. But there were two party boats when we were there playing loud music, hooting and hollering. One was on the lower pond and one was on the upper. It was a weekend, so if I went there again, I'd try to go on a weekday. And I couldn't find... More

Great place to bring your kayak. Some good swimming areas also. Getting your boat and in and out can be tough on a busy day. Small launch area and minimal parking.

Beautiful reservation in the Berkshires. A great place to kayak. Clean and beautiful. Unfortunately we didn't see much wildlife, but we still had a great time kayaking.

Kayaking Goose Pond is almost like having a private lake - you run into very few other boaters. Go all the way to Upper Goose Pond by boating through the tree lined channel and then you'll have even fewer encounters with other boaters. We watched an eagle swipe a fish out of the water, soar up into the sky as... More

Liked it all! Upper Goose Pond Cabin is a must see....right on the Applachain Trail....crossing over the Mass Pike after leaving the car at the parking lot on route 20 was very cool. Didn't like that we had to go back to our car after the hike ended! The Pond has such a remote feeling to it and you feel... More

Goose pond is a nice little lake to pass a few hours, but lacks the small tributaries and pull offs that I like to get lost in. It's in a beautiful location and peaceful, and I would go back just to paddle around and drift away for awhile.

I've started making this a regular visit from my home nearby. Water is clear as can be; motorboat traffic pretty well managed, kayaking, canoeing, swimming are excellent. This would be a tough place if you have picnickers mixed with swimmers/boaters as the picnic lawn is not easily accessible from the water. Otherwise a real gem!

What a day. Not too crowded. Friendly people. Clean, glass like pond. A most enjoyable day. Stopped by one of the islands to have lunch. Beautiful water edge. Can't wait to go back. Hidden treasure.

This is a large pond that I found while hiking on the Appalachian Trail. It is quiet picturesque and would love to see it during the fall. It is a quiet area. Great for canoeing, kayaking and swimming. I would suggest 2-5 hours. Pack a meal.
