Having moved from an area of the US full of gardens, quiet walking places and museums, such as Winterthur and Longwood, I was bereft for the seeming lack of such venues near Boston. Then I happened upon De Cordova. This will now be my sanctuary indeed. The natural beauty combined with art and the chance to also sit inside in the... More

First, I will return in the summer as I am sure the gardens are magnificent then. Went on a cold winter day. Lots of contemporary art - beautiful space and wonderful staff. On the day that we went there had been a power outage and we were generously allowed in without charge. Shorty after arriving the power returned - so... More

I call this place my sanctuary! I love the scenery, it is never crowded, or feels crowded. Museum has wonderful cafe with great real coffee for coffee snobs and delicious snacks and sandwiches. We love to stroll through the park and discover "new" places every time we visit. My favorite time to visit is a weekday, when the place is... More

The sculptures are incredibly well placed and all of them very special, not only outside in the big garden, but also in the musuem. I had the best Tiramisu and capuchino in the Café. The photographic exhibition was great too.

The deCordova Museum in Lincoln is one of those out-of-the way places that one only visits if they are local or rent a car while visiting. It is definitely worth the trip. Everything about the deCordova sceams "class", and in a good way. There are seldom large crowds, and on a sunny day you can picnic amongst the outdoor sculptures... More

This is an exciting place to visit. You have an outside park with the sculptures, as well as an inside museum. Many interesting items to enjoy.

A small yet well structured sculptures and art museum in the town of Lincoln, MA. Suitable for all ages, we're with a 12 years and a 8 years, both enjoyed the park greatly. It takes around 2 hours, at least, to walk around both the open ground sculptures and visit the indoor art exhibits. It's beautiful place to visit and... More
