I'll be honest and say we got there just before closing and we'd had a long day. We dashed thru the visitor center and down to the bridge. The grounds are beautiful! And there are some seats here and there to enjoy the beauty on....More

The park is beautifully maintained, with lovely gardens and landscaping around the sites. The monument by Daniel Chester French is a don't miss, as is the Wayside Inn, the seedbed of so many wonderful authors-- wonderful to stroll the hills where they thought out their...More

The walking trails are gorgeous here. Best to go in fall; the foliage is amazing. You could have a snack in Lexington Center beforehand, or there are some good ethnic restaurants in Arlington.

Museum has a nice introductory film, but the real magic is all along the road. It is interesting to imagine this slice of history. A great side stop is the sleepy hollow cemetery to check out authors row

This is a well managed park with about 5 different parking lots, so you can stop and look at the sites and walk the Battle Trail. Two of the car parks have toilets. There are information boards which point out places of interest, but it...More

Yes, you can with some care. The trail runs near and generally along a well traveled road that will take you to Concord. It has several curves and turns and 'interesting' road intersections. Pending on the time of day... More
