My brother and I walked to the Old Burial Hill and then to crowninshield island it's small but very nice Make sure to go at low tide so you can walk over to the island and explore, just keep a close eye on the tide so you don't get stranded

The island is so much fun for going on an adventure. You can spend all day there walking around, looking for creatures or shells. Don't worry, the island is still accessible when the tide is in, you can kayak or canoe out to the island. Be careful if you walk, don't get stuck!

At low tide you can walk to the island. At high tide you can arrive by boat. Very busy on weekends usually.

A great spot for couples or family, I have gone there even in nasty weather and had it all to my self. YES you had better know your tide times!!!!! You can only go out at low tide and tides come in fast and the water will be up to your waist or neck!!!! Perfect picnic spot. Summers it gets... More

I think walking across the flats at low tide to access this island is a Marblehead "must do" for reasonably fit families. You can climb to the rocks and enjoy a view past Salem Harbor to the islands further off and see all the sailboats in their glory. It's such an accomplishment to be on an island normally surrounded by... More

This is a breathtaking island that can be accessed during low tide during the summer months. It is a great sit back and sun and splash in the water destination. It gives you a little time to explore the rocky coast and more.

What a hidden treasure! The EASIEST way to find this is to use a GPS (walking or driving) with Harding Lane, Marblehead as the address. It's at the very end of Harding Lane that the pathway starts (there is a sign there)... check online for low tide times and just walk on over! It's great! To your right there is... More

This is a very pretty island, easily accessible by kayak from Marblehead (or can walk to it at low tide, I've read but have not seen). Nice place for a picnic, sunning, views, and even a swim. Highly recommended! Just a note - No services of any sort available on the island.
