After a nice lunch at the Barnacle, it was a perfect walk to help digest our lobster rolls! The view is spectacular, and it is then a ice short stroll through the lovely old streets to the shops along Washington.

Great view of the harbor. My husband did an early run there and loved the view of the sunrise. It's a really nice place to visit.

Ft. Sewall dates back to the early 1700s, when it was built by the British. It has the remains of an earthen fort, one of the first in the Colonies. A walkway around the fort provides a beautiful view of the harbor and the lighthouse...More

Fort Sewall was only a short walk from our hotel. It is at the neck of Marblehead harbour and provided great views of the many boats and also of the Islands beyond the harbour.

Such history! And beautiful! Ya have to go see. It's the best spot in Marblehead to look at the boats coming and going from harbor.

Beautiful views of the bay, and also Atlantic Ocean from this park. It's an easy drive, and there is plenty of free parking nearby, in the town center. The town has restaurants and shops too, so you can make an afternoon trip of it.

I think off-season on leash it's ok, but am mot sure. Across the street is Riverhead, where dogs seem to be allowed.
