One of New England's most scenic graveyards, it affords a view of Old Marblehead, the harbor, and the sea. It was established in 1638 at the site of Marblehead’s first meeting house and is the burial site of some 600 Revolutionary soldiers, most in unmarked graves.

A fascinating place of history and wonderment. Just to read the gravestones and imagine what could be happening at that time of history.

Just another neat place to visit while you are in Marblehead. The paper thin tombstones dating back to the 1700's are impressive. Stroll at your own pace

This graveyard, perched on a promitory with great views and a steady breeze, even in summer, was rented as a location for the chase scene in Home Alone 2. Marblehead has a surprisingly (or not) rich history, including a cameo role in the Revolution, sheltering...More

We stumbled on this cemetery while walking the area. It is a pretty little cemetery with a great view. We found out while we were in Salem that this cemetery was used in the film Hocus Pocus.
