We took our daughter who is 2 and she loved it. We went right around 10:30 on a rainy day and it wasn't very busy when we arrived but after about an hour it really started to fill up. The actives are great for children probably up to 1st grade. It's well maintained, clean and the staff is friendly, we... More

Vacationing with a one year old in April can be tricky. He needs time to play and be mobile, which is hard when your parents shuffle you from car seat to stroller to baby carrier and back again. The Children's Museum is basically a giant indoor playground. My son played for an hour and a half at various stations. The... More

I took my five year old grandson to the museum last week. He thoroughly enjoyed himself the entire time. It happened to be Presidents week so there were a lot of children and parents/grandparents there although it never seemed crowded. There was a sing-a-long and also a dance party that my grandson participated in. He had a blast. There are... More

Took my 3 year old grandson and my four year old granddaughter.... They had a ball! I think this museum is perfect for the under 8 crowd! From the princess castle to the pirate ship, from the crows nest to the treehouse... Imaginations soar! Children can be post persons, resteraunt owners, bakers, fire men... If they can imagine it... It... More

This museum is small in size, but big on fun! There are interactive programs and exhibits for kids as young as toddlers through elementary school age (the teens might get bored). They do Birthday parties with themes including a program, free play, and a room for cake and presents. They will team up with local organizations to bring in special... More

This is a great rainy day or diversion visit with joy kids or grandkids. Best hit toddlers. My husband and I got a grandparents membership and it pays for itself if you go there a couple of times. Kids love it! My four year old grandson cried when we had to leave. It's very interactive and allows them free range.... More

This is a rather small museum compared to other children's museums we have been to, however there was a good variety of things to do and it entertained our 5 year old well enough. It encourages playing with other kids and offers a lot of education along with the play.

We visited with our 2 year old Great Grand Daughter and were surprised it was called a museum. We expected something akin to local or state history described for youngsters. It was a playroom with a varity of kids play areas very cute

Our grandchildren love to go to this hands on museum. We take them for the day and it affords their parents time on their own to sit at the beach, pool and/or enjoy a meal on their own while vacationing at the Cape. Everyone is happy.

Okay for kids under 8 years old. Cute play areas set up around a pirate ship structure that kids can climb in. There are science areas such as a kid sized submarine, puzzle challenges, a farming play area and a recreated Wampanoag Wetu structure. There are often kids sing alongs, presentations and birthday parties offered as well as the typical... More
