This is a blast from the past with updates. It's a candlepin bowling alley with a disco ball and dayglo decor. Kids love the special bumpers that keep out gutter balls. There's digital scoring and fun for adults, too. It's a small place in the center of Needham -- if you haven't visited, it's a must for residents and visitors... More

This place has been here forever and is still the same as I remember it from when I was in Elementary school. They do a great job with birthday parties and its a lot cheaper than Kings for a family to bowl on a normal day.

Took family who were visiting from out of town. A great way to pass the time with family of multiple ages. They were uses to regular tenpin, so this novel experience was great fun for them. And the light balls are easier for older folks.

My daughter bowled at Needham Bowlaway 25 years ago. We often went there as it was one of the best activities for kids in town. Now, all these years later, I take her three children here to bowl. Its still great fun for the kids as well as the parents or grandparents. On a recent visit, we waited quite a... More

I had never done this kind of bowling - small balls, different scoring. But great for the younger kids. We had a great afternoon. Nothing fancy here and small place. We got lost trying to find it - not very well marked. Reasonably priced and a wonderful way to spend a rainy afternoon with the 3-13 age crowd.

This is a fun place to go with a small group as it is quite small. It's not fancy and there is no food sold here but it's still fun. I believe you can have birthday parties here as well. There is a soda and water machine if you get thirsty.

We tried the candlepin bowling at Needham Bowlaway for the first time this past weekend and realized we'd been missing out on a great opportunity for family fun. With the lighter ball, affordable pricing and friendly staff, everyone in the family was able to have fun. We'll definitely be back.

A flash to the past, with disco lights, old misshapen bowling shoes and a guy who runs out on the alley to fix a pin getting caught. The staff is very nice and helpful; the game is candlepins which is always fun; and it's a low key place. It's $25/hr and rental fee for the shoes. Enjoy!

This is candlepin bowling as it is supposed to be. Wish it had a little more space but the staff is friendly, the pricing is good and you can actually pick up the ball because this is candlepin and not ten pin. great for kids and they do a great kids party. Bowling leagues almost every night so if you... More
