Fun day on water!

Trip was a lot of fun with multiple whale sightings, including a mother and calf. Only drawback is time it takes to get to viewing area, about an hour.

Went twice in September. Both times we saw whales. On the first trip, saw a mom and calf humpbacks with the calf breaching about five times. Also saw a mola sun fish and another humpback. The second trip was my favorite. Saw a pair of finbacks who were lunge feeding. Finbacks are the second largest whale species. Also saw two... More

We took the whole family (grandparents, parents and grandkids) for this 4 hour whale watch. It was a perfect day, beautiful weather, calm seas and plenty of marine life. The boat is really nice. Its plenty big, very modern and has a nice galley. Parking is super convenient and very reasonable ($1 per hour-credit cards accepted). The staff was friendly,... More

My son and I did the whale watching yesterday with a Groupon. Good relaxing time. We only saw some sun fish and a few fun whales. Service was good. I may try again some day.

Great boat, informative crew, saw 6 whales including a very active young calf who entertained us with breeches, tail slapping, fluking. Momwas also nearby, as well as, a few more large adults. Harbor seals in & out of the harbor. All together a great day.

Our group consisted of 3 generations with another on the way :), Parking was easy and close in the public lot, the boat was immaculate, the crew and captain extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Our day was picture perfect weather and sea state wise, but we felt it would also be fine if it wasn't since there was plenty of indoor... More

This is the 2nd year my husband and I take the grandkids on this whale watch. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. They are knowledgeable about the sea creatures as well. We know when we take this tour we are sure to see whales and get lots of great pics.

Never in a million years would I have thought I would be able to treat my kids to a view like this. We saw humpbacks breaching the water and Dolphins swimming in our wake. Totally worth the trip. The guide is incredibly knowledgable and willing to answer any questions! Highly recommended tour!

Had an absolutely fantastic day on a whale watch on the Captain's Lady II. The whales were very cooperative! Humpback whales were breaching the water right in front of us. We also saw Minke whales. They all played and performed for a long time making everyone very happy. The big surprise (and HUGE highlight) was the large pod of dolphins... More

My family and I just got back from the 8:30am-12:30pm Whale Watch trip leaving from downtown Newburyport, on the Captains Lady ship. Absolutely incredible!! They leave right on time, boat is clean, and crew is fantastic. Not only did we see Humpback and Minke Whales, we also saw hundreds of Dolphins (with their newborn calfs), Seals and Sunfish. There was... More
