Aside from wonderful chicken and turkey potpies (various sizes), they have inexpensive local eggs, groceries (good in case you're camping and forgot something) and a selection of wines and liquor, cheeses and snacks if you want to pull a picnic together. Lots of random fun stuff to browse, as well as "Otis, MA" sweatshirts, baked goods and more.

My sweetheart and I had just finished our weekend stay at the Red Lion Inn at Stockbridge, MA. Heading back to Stratford Ct via a different route, I chose to head down Route 20 and pick up Route 8 in Otis MA. I had been to "The Farm" years ago when my children were very young. So I just had... This is a roadside stop that makes Throwback Thursday look tame. An old fashioned chicken farm that's turned into a store with everything from homemade fudge and apple pie to backscratchers to sweatshirts to you name it. Lots of parking, bathrooms available, and down home genuine fun.

This store has not a chicken in sight. All they have is overpriced tourist items at a high price. They also offer some farm fresh items that are in season. There prices are higher than the Farm Stands that are in the area.

Need to work on quality control. Not sure if some items are 3rd party but the quality was not there. Customer satisfaction should be important too

We've driven by this place for years, and the building, the property and the hand painted signs just ooze nostalgia & charm! Spoke to the super nice owner Andy about the possibility of having an antiques & collectibles flea market on the grounds during the summertime and into the fall. It's an ideal location and the property with its little... More

We've been stopping at Otis Poultry Farm for the last six or so years on the way up to Albany. We look forward to the break and walking around the store. There are so many unique items here and great home made fruit pies, honey, maple sugar, dog treats, beer, wine, etc. I wish I knew about this place when... More

Stopped her for lunch and everything was delicious. We also bought some turkey pot pies to take home and they were outstanding. I wish we lived closer to this place! Cute little country restaurant with great service and food. A must stop if your in the area.

Stopping at Otis Poultry Farm was almost a requirement purely due to the effort these guys put into attracting visitors. Animated chickens and signs for eggs all over the place. The farm has grown from a small Mom & Pop business selling eggs and chickens in 1904 to the next generation building things up with cheese, milk and bread. The... More
