I bring my dog to Moore State Park 4-6 times per week depending on the weather, This is not the largest of state parks however Moore State Park offers a nice variety of trails. You can hike near the water, through the woods, in fields or along the paved access road. You can sit under the large gazebo type structure... More

We came here for a couple of hours and were quite impressed. Easy short trails to hike with plenty of shade. Very well kept. Unfortunately the water level is very, very low so there wasn't any water flowing under the bridge. Nice picturesque park with lots of places to sit and rest. Saw people fishing, reading, picnicking. Will definitely be... More

It's family friendly and photogenic. Definitely a must visit place. Although I have no idea why a tourist would visit the area but it's a classic New England experience if you find yourself barreling through central Massachusetts. There is also a creepy cabin nearby with a webcam attached for some reason. Look inside and be underwhelmed. If you dare!!

I had heard about Moore State Park and my friend was here from N.Y. and is fond of hiking and walks in the woods. We went to Moore's SP and he was very impressed. Our day was overcast, but didn't ruin our little hike. We definetly will return this coming Spring. It's such a beautiful place.

The park is really beautiful. The trails are not too long making it a great place to take the kids for a short hike and absorb some captivating natural scenery. Because the trails are short, I wouldn't recommend it for the avid backpacker. There is one restroom but no drinking water or food in the immediate area so be sure... More

Driving down Rte. 31, you would never guess there is such a beautiful, peaceful park right off the highway. With three descending waterfalls and a mill, it is a gorgeous location for picnics and family events. All of the flowering shrubs were in full display.

This is a beautiful park. I have been going there for over 40 years. Unfortunately the best subject for pictures, the mill building and stream/gorge below, is severely overgrown with trees and saplings. There is absolutely no view from below. The rest of the park is well taken care of but I was very disappointed.
