The first is beautiful and peaceful, bit what i found most interesting is the evidence of experiments in progress by the Harvard school.

The museum building includes expert explanations of the area's progression as a forest. Clear explanations presented by university professors. Focuses on the Quabbin Reservoir and watershed areas. Nicely done.

a diorama of area forests and lands through the years. Several hundred acres of maintained forest trails to enjoy.
