Berkshire place to buy high quality produce and prepared food. Similar quality to anything you will find in NYC.

Just moved to the area and I thank my lucky stars I found Guido's so quickly. Great place for all kinds of culinary delights. Excellent cheese selection; great meat counter; beautiful produce. No, it's not cheap. This is where you go for the GOOD STUFF! Take my word for it, you won't find Folger's coffee anywhere in the store .... More

Really nice place to shop. Lots of local and organic produce, a great readymade selection including amazing hummus. But you really pay for the selection and quality. It is the most expensive store I've shopped at outside of New York City for groceries. But then again, my wife and I keep going back because of the quality.

Guido's is locally famous for its upscale (expensive) and varied produce but where it really stands out, to us, is their Prime beef. It's expensive but it is worth the occasional splurge. On the downside, Clientele tend to be rather pushy and aggressive. Also, Guido's doesn't have shopping carts that you can take to car...the reason, perhaps, is that carts... More

We play golf in the Berkshires several times per year. We order sandwiches from the deli in Great Barrington Guido's market. Yesterday we ordered 8 sandwiches to go along with several other snacks. The rolls were stale !!!!!!! Very surprised

I ordered a whole wheat wrap with turkey, provolone cheese, sprouts, black olives and banana peppers. Also, ordered a rye bread, ham, swiss cheese, tomato, lettuce and both sandwiches were about $7.00. The sandwiches were large and quite filling.

We shopped in Guido while on our vacation in Berkshires. It is the right place to buy organic, exotic, gourmet and local food. Enjoyed shopping there!

I ordered a Panini Sandwich because the sign said " Panini your Sandwich " See photo below this is what I got. Its a sad example of a Panini Sandwich. If you had one you know what it looks like. The Head Chef and culinary staff either are not trained or they are not being supervised, or just do not... More

we stopped here to pick up some groceries while we were staying in the area -- and what a pleasant surprise. guido's has everything you would expect, plus the most amazing baked chicken (not fried, but tasted like it), chicken salad and lots more prepared foods. the produce was beautiful, the ice cream selection was to die for (especially SoCo)... Widest selection of organic fruits and vegetables. Delicious shrimp and great looking meat and poultry. Very attentive and knowledgeable staff. However, this is an upscale market.
