The museum offers several hands on exhibits and educational play areas for children as well as a small aquarium. Definitely worth spending a couple of hours together.

The museum has the mummies of Pahat and Son from ancient Egypt displayed in two glass cases. There is also an interactive "educational" display, computerized, that tells a lot about the death rites, a forensic reconstruction of Pahat's head and face, and an MRI type...More

This has the same old "dusty" displays as they had many decades ago, the newer stuff (there's not all that much) is geared to small children. We went through it in about 15 minutes. It needs to be updated, We Won't bother going back.

This venue is perfect for all ages. Lots of aquariums and aquatic life. Plenty of stuffed animals and birds too . The special guitar exhibit this summer was great. The innovation area is also interesting. This is a great place for a rainy day.

We have always gone to Mass Moca, the Clark and the Norman Rockwell museum. We found this museum to be great for kids and a perfect size for an afternoon visit.
