Love the beach

This is a great place to visit on either the ocean side or the river side (though the ocean side has more waves). Take your shoes off, walk the sand, and enjoy the beach.

Nice sandy beach with easy access to the state campground. It has a jetty for climbing, fishing and walking. It affords great views of Hampton and Newburyport harbor.

This state park was a pleasant surprise. I expected a massive parking lot on a sandy windswept beach and, since I was there Labor Day weekend, more than a few rowdy parties. In fact, it is grassy between campsites, there are some rather large trees (though very little real shade), and any rowdiness came from the families with small kids... More

The beach is long large & beautiful. The campground is a parking lot narrow roads, backed up to more narrow roads. Not many with views of water or full hookups. The river side beaches didnt say dogs were ok, but everyone seemed ok with dogs on the beach, which was great for our lab to swim.

We just got home from a weekend at the Trust. It was beautiful. We stayed in the campground and had a wedding in the pavilion.. Beautiful location right on the beach. The facilities are well maintained and the park employees are awesome. We can't wait to go back!

I like this campground primarily because it is quite inexpensive to stay near the beach if you want to hit the beaches during the day and bar hop at night and listen to the many local bands that play around the Salisbury/Hampton area and not have to drive to far. The price has gone up recently, but it is still... More

Nice beach for families. Clean, not too crowded and decent facilities. The sand is coarse unless it's low tide then there is some nice white sand.

This is our go to beach living on the North Shore of MA. And we just learned that as seniors we are able to get a life time pass to all State Reservations! We always go to the last parking lot before the campground. There's a bathroom facility and outdoor showers. At certain times there can be a lot of... More

Went with the three little grandchildren and had a great time. It was hot, hot, hot, but there was a sea breeze so it wasn't to bad. Had umbrellas, so we had some shade. Clean, clean beach. The bathrooms were also clean. Plenty of parking. In state was $14 to park. They also have showers and changing area in the bathroom.... More

Wonderful family beach. Plenty of parking close to the boardwalks, bathrooms and changing areas. Very big beach and very clean. Great for walking and boogie boarding. Life guards were visible and clearly were enforcing the safety rules.
