Most visitors spend the day at Hampton Beach and then find their way here for food, beer and fun. Some things have changed, but the atmosphere is still honky-tonk and loud and that's the charm of this place.

This is a nice little beach with a boardwalk area that sells food. Plenty for kids to do. There are also several beach front bars so there is something for adults too. The night I was there some of the bars had live music. Really...More

The town has seen better days but it provides reasonable access to the beach. Good spot for fishing. We were off season so it was very quiet JUST WHAT WE WANTED.

Though we didn't get to enjoy the "amusement" part of this beautiful beach which looked very "cool", it was a great place in Salisbury to watch the sunrise. The beach is very clean. You can also watch the sunset at night from the "reservation" part...More

As a family that normally heads a bit further North to Hampton Beach we were pleasantly surprised by the charm and feel of Salisbury beach. It feels like a beach town...throw back strip complete with fried dough, arcades and everything in between. Enjoy!!! Surfside for...More

We were directed to Lot 3 due to our need to have a beach wheelchair. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. They provided free beach wheelchair but you must ask at the entrance. Plenty of parking. $20 for non-Massachusetts residents. Bathrooms smelling disgusting is the...More

Nice clean friendly beach. Always a hit with the family. Plenty of parking but best way is to camp at state reservation and then you can walk ! River side is dog friendly even in the height of summer.

Nice to visit for an hour or 2 but not an all day event. It's a small amusement area with rides, food and stores with tourist stuff. The boardwalk was nice if you don't want to go on the beach. It was cold so it...More

In the off season some are open only on weekends. I would suggest calling the particular place that you are interested in visiting.

I would call Salisbury Beach State Reservation Campground, they will be able to either answer the question or let you know who can. I've sat on the beach in November and watched the horses being ridden on the beach.
