As a local, I still love the Boardwalk even after 20 years. It is a nice walk above the marsh, and quite enjoyable reading the planks. If you are adventurous, you can jump during high tide (it's really not that high, but the water can...More

A walk recommended by a local but do check the state of the tide before you set out. The (broad)walk to the beach can either be five feet in the air when the tide is out or have the water nearly lapping the wooden slats...More

The boardwalk is a very scenic area. I usually try to visit more during the off season as it becomes very crowded during peak season. Offers wonderful views and also leads to the beach area.

This was much shorter than I expected. Very easy walk, we did have a stroller there were a few steps down to the beach at the end but no big deal. Fun afternoon!

About a five minute drive, plenty of parking, and wonderful views. I have been coming here every summer since I was a little girl. Minutes access to town neck beach.

It is about 3/4 of a mile in total. If you use the parking lot farthest from the beach, about a 20 minute walk in total

They do charge to park in the summer if you don't have a sticker. Unless you get there early, they don't ticket cars that get there before they start charging.
