I happen to live very near this track, and so, I've played the course many, many times. Widow's Walk is a golf course that needs your full attention and skill level. If you're new to the game and you can't decide on whether to try W/W or go to the movies...I'd recommend seeing the film. Some of the guys I... More

Great job of building an environmental friendly golf course on an old sand pit. Keep your driver in the bag as the course is very narrow with no bailout spots. Driving range is available and a good eatery on location for 19th hole

The place can be trouble if the wind is blowing. Conditions on the course were good and the staff friendly and helpful. Good value for the price.

But don't let that stop you. After hearing about how nasty this course is I hesitated trying it until last week. What a great spot! Sure, if you miss the fairway in many places there's a good chance you'll lose your ball. But if you have a large collection of used/found balls and want to just enjoy a round of... More

Widow's walk has matured since it first opened, but it still is "target golf". For the good golfer, i.e., someone who shoots in the 80's or below, it's a challenging and entertaining course. For the duffer, it can be a painful experience. Fairways can be narrow, tight on either side of the fairway, and not at all forgiving. There are... More

Widow's Walk is a tough course, narrow, short in lots of places. A shot maker would like the challenge of Widow's, people who like golf balls don't. Course is usually in decent condition, and its public, which is hard to do. Its hard to get to, so maybe thats why its in good shape. Lots of marsh, ponds and impenetrable... More

Upfront the course is to penal for the average golfer. Stray & you stay in the bushes, grass or whatever the stuff is. Sides of fairways show lack of attention, so balls can end up anywhere. As accomplished golfers, admittedly playing on a windy cool day not conducive to good scores, we found the traps, tees and as stated, off... More

Got to play here on Monday, and the course was actually quite crowded. We drove a cart, which was a good call, given the hills on some holes. Accuracy is at a premium, and I think it's therefore a challenging course. I always heard it was a shot-makers course, and that is an accurate statement. Most holes have multiple challenges,... Have played here many times and recently played first round of the 2014 here on Good Friday, what a treat. While many MA courses are struggling to open and losing greens, WW was in great shape, particularly the greens, which rolled true, as in, no bumps. More than enough undulation to create some havoc. While not a very long course,... More

Not the challenge it used to be when it opened...but plenty of bite for the average golfer. I wishe they would trim the brush on the 17th tee box to open up the original vistas....fabulous
