Ok so we spent 3 days in Boston on a mini vacation to do some shopping etc and I really wanted to check this place out even though the GPS said it was a 1 hour 40 minute drive from our hotel in Bedford. So we headed out around 9:30 and got there around 11:15. The drive was fairly easy,... More

My wife and kids are big Yankee Candle fans ... Me, not so much. Still we had a great time taking it all in at Thanksgiving time and it was a really fun way to kill an hour. The staff was super helpful and replaced several items with exactly what we wanted (size wise for maximizing coupon effectiveness) while we... More

This place is fun to visit. You could easily spend a couple of hours here just browsing every single detail. It is a big place and offers lots of things to see. Very neat, indeed!

Took a day trip here from southern CT. The Yankee Candle store is basically a Disneyesque shopping experience, featuring hundreds of varieties of candles and other interesting items. I say Disneyesque because YC has a few themed rooms with elaborate facades which transport you into a fantasy environment. Aside from the expected candles available for purchase, there are also children... More

When told we would be visiting the Yankee Candle village, I pictured a massive warehouse of nothing but candles, wax melts, and scent beads. Boy, was I wrong! This place is monstrously large - larger than many strip malls, if I had to guess. Walking in we were instantly overwhelmed at the mass amounts of selection, and equally large number... More

We had been to this spot several years ago, and were very surprised at how commercialized it had become. I believe that it was sold a few years ago, and the new owners have expanded the shopping experience. I think I prefer the old Yankee Candle.

We make our trip to Yankee Candle Village every November to kick off the holiday season. This year was exceptionally great. The level of customer service we got during multiple parts of our visit were just through the roof. First, we had Veronica who helped us in one of the little nativity scene shops (off of the big room with... More

This place is HUGE. I mean they have so much more then just candles. And the prices are the same that you would find in any other store they have. It's just here you get to choose from so many fragrances. You are greeted by a friendly staff member when you first walk in. They have so much more then... More

We were doing the fall Mohawk trail and saw the flagship Yankee candle store. It is huge and we ended up spending 3-4 hours there followed by a return trip the next morning for an hour! Excellent choice of candles and a very good kids section. It wan't too busy on a friday evening when we visited. Also had a... More

We visited Yankee Candle Village with a small group from CT. It was an easy ride, and visiting during the week avoided the crowds there. The store is an amazing maze of little shops. Fun to wander throughout and visit places such as Bavaria where it actually snows every 4 minutes! Beautiful selection of Christmas ornaments and gift items. There... More
