Notre Dame Church is a brilliant example of Rococo Architecture, an impressive place of worship or just to enjoy the beauty. Each stone was purchased from the surplus of the Spanish American War for $1.00 each from the U.S. Government. Secretary of State William Leonard Marcy willed his family's Estate for the site of new parish. Ask for a tour- Margaret Ferrand Office Manager.

This church is very impressive from the street. It’s massive. It really didn’t need to be elevated. At 210 feet high, it was already imposing enough. Its gleaming grayish white marble blocks add to its eye appeal. However, the story of why white marble was...More

This church is a wonderful experience. My son and new daughter-in-law were married here in July, and we got the chance to see it up close. The interior is stunningly beautiful, in an almost baroque style. It is all off-white and sky blue. The windows...More

I attended a wedding here last fall and can only say very positive things about the Priest and altar servers. This was a very memorable wedding!

We stopped by for mass, and just fell in love with this 100 year old church. Built by the French who settled in Southbridge 100 years ago. Beautifully decorated and a fantastic homily by Father Peter.

We went to a service in this church and was stunned when we walked inside. It was built in 1912 and was absolutely beautiful. The carvings, the stations of the cross, the woodwork, every detail was embellished beautifully. A must see.

The church recently celebrated it's 100th anniversary, though the parish is older. The town has recently undergone merging 4 parishes into 1 with this being the main facility. Beautiful inside and out. Presently renovating the original organ for an even better sound.

Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful more cathedral than church building. Grew up & got married here. Very sad that due to finances and parish downsizing / consolidating now part of "shared" parish of three (?) smaller churches.
