We stayed at the Sturbridge Host Hotel for 2 nights with friends and family. We had a minor glitch upon check-in (not the hotels fault) which was addressed very fast. Staff was extremely friendly. The pool we did not get to access as we left before 10am and did not return until a few minutes after 9pm when it was... More

I recently stayed overnight to avoid an hour and half drive for an early class. This hotel needs to invest in some updates. The bed was lumpy and the rod iron frame squeaked. The curtains were dirty, and mold in the bathroom. WiFi was free in guest rooms but not the conference rooms. A peer was told it would cost... More

We stayed for 2 nights for a conference. Found a bag of crackers on the floor in the room and other objects on the floor. Bed was very lumpy. The drapes and other linens were so wrinkled. They need a new linen service. Staff was not overly friendly. No one asked how our stay was when we checked out. Overall... More

Had an awesome time besides the dog poop everywhere. This one of the greatest hotels that I ever been to. My husband was so excited to have a picnic in the grass until we seen dog poop everywhere. Still would recommend thou!

My family and I went to Sturbridge Village for the Christmas stroll last Sunday. We stayed here. The staff was incredibly nice. The fireplace was very warm and welcoming. And the property is beautiful. It could use some updates but for the price and location, it is well worth it. We ended up staying an extra night because we were... More

Stayed here for Valentine's Day weekend. We liked our room enough to stay an additional night, but it's not really a great place for a romantic getaway. Maybe better for families whose kids need to get out of the house during the colder months. Hotel is in dire need of updating. We stayed in a lakeside room, which was MUCH... More

We stayed here for one night. A couple retreat which included two dinners and two breakfasts. The pool and jacuzzi were "out of order" for most of the day. When it finally opened it was crowed with families, couples, and some grumpy senior citizens who wanted the jacuzzi to themselves. We have been there many times-every season-with family and alone....
