The big E is always a fun day just to walk around and enjoy the sights. I would suggest not going on the weekends because of the crowds. If you get to the state buildings right at 10 o'clock when they open you do not have to fight any crowds. There are so many places to grab a snack or... More

Wonderful fair lots of interesting food. Much to see I go about 3times during its run. Good for families. Once you pay entrance fee, which is cheap, $12.00 , all shows are free.

FINALLY found a parking attendant who put us on right path. This is an older crowd-average age 60-but they... More

We have been going every year since 2002. It is an awesome place with tons of things to see and eat. Over the years I started noticing things that I consider"not consumer worthy". One is vendors that consistently short you on change. Once, maybe, - twice possibly, but when it happens consistently, it's no error. The second is misleading vendors.... More

It was in the 80's when I was last there with my class and family. I love the fried dough the most and pizza that was there.

Over 1.3 million visitor's yearly for its 17 day run. Great crafts, animal shows, equestrian events, amusement park rides and midway plus outstanding food for everyone. Especially low the New England state houses where you can sample Vermont Cheddars, Massachusetts clam fritters, Maine baked potatoes, and various other treats and micro-brew beers. Lego land for the kids and all kinds... More

For so many reasons we always attend the big e --- For food, entertainment, to spend time with other family members - we would not miss it We often visit several times during the run of the fair But usually try to avoid the most crowded of times on the weekend

Definitely will break the bank, prices outrageous especially for kids to ride the rides. Overall staff was pleasant. The bathrooms could use a make over and the grounds was a little dirty. Not bad but not good either
