If you love science and this kind of stuff on your vacation, you'll love it! We managed to get on a tour of Alvin last minute which did not disappoint my 7, or 42 year old. The latter regrets not having become a scientists.

This was a great tour. You get to see what oceanographers 'do' and visit their lab / see the ships they sail out of Falmouth. It takes an hour and reservation are required.

The Woods Hole Oceanographic Center occupies a three-story old clapboard house. My husband and I both had expected something spacious, modern and highly sophisticated. Instead the displays consisted of old fashioned poster boards, a few interactive computer screens (not all of which worked) and a...More

We ducked in to see the Titanic exhibit but were somewhat disappointed by the limited scope of the exhibits. The diving sub was interesting as were some of the other displays. It would have been more enjoyable if we didn't run into a middle school...More
