This is a small aquarium that features area marine life with some touch sites for the kids and a look at some fish you've probably never seen before. It's also free and managed by the Woods Hole folks so you can get some questions answered.

I had low expectations of this place and it was great! There were lobsters of every color and a huge variety of fish. The seals passed away this spring, so it is just the inside tanks. TIP: If they are feeding the tanks, go upstairs...More

DEFINITELY a hidden treasure and very interesting...no fee just a donation..a tad hard to locate..but woods hole is small so it's easier..no parking except on the street and it's metered..best to park and walk.

A very small, interesting, and informative look at local marine life. The entire aquarium can likely be viewed in 20-30 min. Great for small kids. Free of charge but accepts donations. No parking lot (parking in front of aquarium marked as reserved for staff) but...More

Enjoyed the visit. Museum was very small, could use more creativity in designing tanks. Could use more exhibits especially about their research. The outdoor seal exhibit was closed due to death of seal. Very sad.

Fascinating collection of sea creatures -- I've never seen purple starfish before, and other specimens were also new to me. Nice layout, touch tank for kids.

I loved the variety of fish and sea creatures that this little aquarium had! My 6 and 1/2 year old granddaughter loved it too!

Had an enjoyable half an hour here (it's pretty small), checking out he lovely fish in tanks. Also the opportunity for kids to stroke some fish too. Be aware the seals have all passed away so there aren't any to see there. Free entry with...More

Small aquarium easily visited in half an hour. It's home to local sea life and some rescued marine mammals. Don't miss the powder blue lobster. Parking is ATROCIOUS , so be prepared and patient.

Great place for the young folks! Some exhibits are hands on, but this is not the New England Aquarium :-) An hour would do it. Walk around the corner to the docks and check out the working boats too, this should keep them... More
