Great ride for us walk ons.

We took the early ride out to MV, and the last one back to WH at 9:30pm. We had beautiful weather & smooth sailing. Nice ship inside and out.

We took the ferry to and from Martha's Vineyard today and couldn't have been happier with the ride in both directions. but THAT'S not why I'm writing this review. About half way through our day, I realized that I'd lost my wallet and I had no idea where I might have lost it. We were bike riding all over the... More

We arrived early and they squeezed us on the cargo ferry on the way to Martha's Vineyard. It was a fun, fast journey! On the way back we sailed on their new ferry and had a very pleasant ride back to Wood's Hole.

Senior prices and a very enjoyable mode of travel to MV. We usually take the ferry from Woods Hole to Oak Bluffs. If you're returning at night get there early and wear a top for the wait! It can get a bit cool and windy! The smaller of the ferries has state of the art charging stations for your smartphones!

The Fast Ferry is the way to travel to Nantucket. The boarding and debarking of the ferry was efficient and hassle free. The crew was helpful and professional.

Hop on the ferry (reservations if you are taking your car!) and you are off on a mini adventure. Ferries run on time--are very reasonable--and transport you in less than an hour. If daytripping Go Early-rent a car and just EXPLORE. Drive to Gay Head and work your way back to the last ferry.

Whether going over by car, with bicycle, or by foot the ride is worth the price. Round trip tickets are best. If you're not taking your car, the bus service works well, and even has a lift for wheelchair bound folk as well as a bike carrier on the front of each bus. Enjoy!
