Beautiful, peaceful setting and views. Unfortunately parking is limited and people don't know how to park to make room for others visiting. Will have to go back to experience a sunset.

We made the short drive from Woods Hole. The residence is occupied by the commanding officer of the Coast Guard. You can take photos and take a trail down to the water.

The lighthouse was to be opened between 10am & noon the day we planned our visit but due to poor weather conditions it was closed when we arrived. Parking availabity was very limited but we made the best of our visit.

Worth the trip to see it- beautiful view. If you are going to Martha's Vineyard you can get a picture of it from the ferry too.

I didn't notice the trolley. Most people ride their bikes up there. My husband and I walked there and back from the Woods Hole Inn. The weather was nice, so we made the most of it. You can drive to the lighthouse, but there... More
