Green Hill Park is a huge public park in Worcester. It is located between Belmont Street (Route 9) and Interstate 290E, a few blocks east of Lincoln Street. I think the best part of the park is the area closest to Belmont Street. There is a working farm, the Vietnam War Memorial, an arboretum and woods with paths. If you... More

Quite, clean, picturesque. A nice escape from the daily grind. Daughter enjoyed the petting zoo (which is free btw). Nice way to spend some quality time with the family.

Well maintained park with Massachusetts Vietnam Memorial and great walking paths on high elevation overlooking the city of Worcester, MA. The Memorial is a moving tribute to all those who died in Vietnam with names and letters written home by fallen soldiers on large granite stones. The walking paths give great views all around the city as you walk around... More

A wonderful family recreational area with something for everyone : A fine golf course with an excellent restaurant. A beautiful park with a fine playground and walking trails.

Green Hill Park has many attractions in one place. The landscaping and vistas are gorgeous. There are many places to hike or have a picnic. The petting zoo is very cute and while I was there an Ice cream truck came around. The most impressive part was the Vietnam War Memorial, with stone slabs inscribed with letters home from soldiers... After a nice day of golf, it was very enjoyable to have a nice dinner. The salad was so fresh and crisp. The food was awesome and the staff was very friendly. That alone will make me return soon!

I visited the farm petting zoo with two small boys. It was a good size for them, not too big. The farm/zoo was very clean and the animals well kept. We did not stop at the playground as it had boarded up places that looked rather unsafe. For a quick visit with small children, it is free, clean, safe, stroller... More

This area is great. It really is. There are sidewalks for kids to use their scooters/bikes on, a playground, a farm, a cool war memorial, it's lush and beautiful BUT. But, but but... It doesn't attract a great crowd. There were solo men hanging out by the playground. Strange characters that seemed to be lurking around. Cigarette butts all over... More

This park is a very large park with a number of things that would appeal to many different groups. Large ponds, beautiful scenery, golf course, vets memorial, small petting zoo, skate board park and ball fields... Hard to imagine much more. Great place to come with kids!

My father used to take us there to feed the ducks and the deer. The ducks are still there but the deer have been replaced by a petting zoo. My great nephews, now in their 20's, used to love going there to feed the ducks as well. Green Hill Park is now the home of the MA Viet Nam Memorial.... More
