Vast array of animals including African Safari area. The presentation gets visitors close. Young kids will love this zoo. Small train ride and other young child activities. Worth traveling a big distance to see.

Went on a brisk Saturday morning. I got a $10 spring special admission ticket. I spent 2.5 hours here and saw it all. Lots of animals and many of them were active. Don't go expecting to spend all day...it isn't that big.

Check out the Fort Custer recreation camp ground. It is a State park. Beautiful property!
