We spent nearly 3 hours in this free attraction, and if we had more time, it would have been longer. The theater has over 6 hours of film on demand, with various subjects. There is a small gift shop, and two stories of exhibits, most of them fascinating. Great for history buffs, and for those interested in history, logging, lumber... More

My daughter Madison and I love to walk on Center and enjoy the Architecture and Floral on Center. The Historical plaques help to keep it interesting and educate you about your walk. It is great in all four seasons. Take a look at the houses closely. There is a " Tour of homes" in early Winter still for a better... More

I'll be honest, I wasn't all that interested in a good amount of the exhibits in the museum (early Native Americans, shipping aren't my thing). However, I won't let my lack of topical interest cloud my review. The museum is nice - the displays are set up well, and the place is clean and welcoming. You can't really go wrong... More

I volunteer at the museum library. Also have been to several of the temporary and permanent exhibits. On first Saturdays they have a speaker on a topical subject. Staff and volunteers are eager to assist people in learning about Bay County in general or their particular family or property.

I have visited the Historical Museum several times. Bay City has a rich history and you will find out everything from the lumber industry to ship building and the golden days of the Wenonah Beach. It's all here and beautifully displayed.

Bay County is lucky to have a Historical Museum that documents and preserves its history. Some exhibits are permanent. Some are changing. They also offer monthly programs on community topics of interest.

Great way to learn about our little community. Some of the displays are permanent and some are rotating. Not too long for senior to enjoy. Little shop to purchase local books.

I have toured this museum as a child and adult but I appreciate much more as an adult since I have a greater appreciation for history now. This is a great local history museum that gives a good general overview of the town's history as well as Michigan history for that region. There is no fee to visit this museum... More
