This is a beautiful area that we have seen grow over the past 10 years. Downtown is charming and the Pier is a great place to walk and relax on the benches.

This is a must do in Bay City. This is a relaxing and very pretty walk along the river. If staying at the Doubletree by Hilton be sure to request a riverside room. We were there just as the fall colors were beginning to show...More

This is a wonderful place to spend several hours, or several days. One can enjoy both views of the city, and of the river; while walking, biking or just sitting & relaxing. One can watch bridges raising & lowering, a variety of water traffic passing,...More

A pleasant riverfront trail that also provides a great history lesson of Bay City. There are little markers that provide you short descriptions of the various business concerns that used to occupy the riverfront where you happen to be walking. There's also some interesting artifacts...More

I really enjoyed Petoskey. Lots to see that took up 4 hrs of walking. The town is a vacation lived atmosphere and filled with lots of attractive spots to see. A waterfall beside some stairs from Sunset Park which is above that fills a creek...More

This is an easy, flat path to bike, walk or jog on. Lots of lighting for evening walks as well. Just be wary of all the duck and goose droppings along parts of the path. If you like to be up close and personal with...More

On the typical Friday, there are very few people here and you have space at tables to sit with friends and walk the distance without people in your way. This is a great place to go on a beautiful night and watch the boats pass...More

This River Walk is much better then Detroit's. You have an East & West side. Both have several Restaurant's, Bars, Marina's and a nice walking area. Both have that Old Town Feel to them. Today was raining and only 70 degrees not a good day...More

There is parking on the street. I’m not sure how big your rig is but there is a parking lot near the south end kind of across from the pool building. But street parking is ample.
