Museum is just a short walk from the ferry dock and is free. It is easy to spend a lot of time there because the exhibits are thorough and interesting. When we were there, no one else went upstairs or out to the old jail....More

Small place, but rich with history. Very interesting aspect of Momorn history that I had never heard. No charge for the museum...they just ask for free will offering.

Enjoyed the stories and photos on display of all aspects of the colorful history of Beaver Island. Definitely worth a visit

We stopped by while waiting for the Ferry and were pleasantly surprised to see all the historical items and info they have on display. The island has an amazingly rich history that is worth learning about!

Small museum presenting the island's heritage. A lot of genealogy of the island's long-time residents. Don't expect to see a printing press, I was told the actual printing press has never been found, Upstairs has some interesting items as well.
