The Jim Crow Museum is a "must" for any person interested in civil society and the struggles we have all endured to achieve such. It is a fabulous collection of racist artifacts. It may be a little intense for children, but it tells the story...More

I have visited with friends, family, and, as a teacher I took my U.S. history classes. This museum has been put together with great love and care. When you leave, it is with a sense of sorrow for what has been done and a sense...More

I was lucky to take a tour with the museum's creator. He is so well versed in the topic and to hear the stories behind the pieces he collected and his research was very interesting.

Makes you realize how cruel such stereotyping can be, and how frustrating for those vitimized. Very broad collection of artifacts covering several decades. For obvious reasons (nasty people still exist) no photography is allowed.

This museum is located at Ferris State University library at the lower floor and it is free. It was very educational and things I have never seen about slavery and racism.
