We arrived at 8:30 in the evening--so it was late in the day and had the guide assign us a spot. We were shocked to see such a large park--they had a large flat grassy area with over 200 spots. It was off season so we could have had our choice, but we were tired of driving. It soon started... More

This is a nice campground with reasonably spaced sites. There is electric hookups and a dump station and place to put water in your trailer. Very quiet. Lake Superior is right there with a nice long beach for walking. There are 238 sites, but when we went in mid-September, there was no more than 1/3 full at any time. I'd... More

This park is on Lake Superior in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Beautiful views on the beach. The restroom & shower house were clean and roomy. The sites are very close together, with no privacy in between. I asked for a good level spot, & got one that was sloped, rough & very worn out, with trash & confetti everywhere.... More

Camped here for 5 nights and look bed the beauty of the park, easy access to the Lake. Very clean facilities. Close to town and shopping, also easy drive into Sault St Marie.

My husband and I went there for hiking and we found we were at the wrong place. This park is for camping and boat launching but definitely not for hiking. There is no hiking trail in the park. The beach is small.

This was are starting point for our Lake Superior Circle Tour. We didn't think we were going to like it here because it was so busy but soon found that we did. Super friendly and helpful staff, quite at night, great location on Lake Sperior, clean bathrooms, and a very decent grocery store across the road.

At first, I was thinking I wouldn't like this park. It was crazy busy when we got there on Wed., and the weekend stayed busy until Sunday when it quieted down. Lots of sites, almost all full until Sunday but still a lot of people came and went. The bathrooms were pretty clean, but kids rode bikes all up and... More

Brimley is right on Lake Superior. There is a tree line buffer to protect you from the wind off the lake. The beach is great. It is sandy and shallow quite for a good distance. Great for the kids to play. A couple of things to keep in mind, the sites backing up to the beach are very short -... More

The amount of skunks that come out at dark are ridiculous, every single night we would have one coming around , cleared the campfire. This has been going on for the last 3 years and there has to be something they can do about this, what a nuisance. Everything else is perfect and beautiful but its hard to enjoy camping... More

Very nice beach with clean facilities however, at some sites the fire rings are too close to the electric pole. When asked if it could be move the "Young" lady said that they do not do that! That posed a danger to our camper because the awning was only a foot or so from the heat/sparks of a fire! They... More
